Mainfreight Schiphol has transported seven armoured demining vehicles and spare parts from Denmark to Bremerhaven in Germany for the U.S. Army, in collaboration with Wim Bosman. The demining vehicles weigh 18,000 pounds each, and are a new prototype. Eventually, the vehicles were transported by ship from Bremerhaven to America.
Concerning the seven demining vehicles, Wim Bosman had the right contacts in Denmark to carry out and supervise this exceptional transport.
The U.S. Army has 26 military bases in Europe with continental and international goods movements. Mainfreight Schiphol is the control centre for orders of the U.S. Army relating to sea and air freight and road transport in Europe. In the next months another 23 vehicles and spare parts will be transported by Mainfreight Schiphol and Wim Bosman.
