MAUT-Surcharge
The German ans Austrian road pricing
MAUT has started as of 2005. The MAUT surcharge applies to trucks
with a total weight of more than 12 tonnes. The average surcharge
has been set at 13,5 eurocent per kilometre driven in Germany. For
Austria the average surcharge has been set at 32,55 eurocent per
kilometre driven in Austria.
As the MAUT is being considered a tax, we are forced to pass the
full amount on to our customers.
