Wim Bosman launches a simplified version of online
booking: E-Shipment Lite
Since 2003 the Wim Bosman
Group offers a free online booking tool to book orders via the
Internet called E-Shipment.
With E-Shipment you have the possibilities
to:

Book orders electronically via the Internet;
-
print barcode labels and loading lists;
-
to work with a customer database;
-
use default values;
-
customize the lay-out of the barcode labels (A6, A5
or A4 format);
-
automatically generate an order number;
-
to receive confirmation of receipt of your orders
via e-mail.
As of 16 December 2006 there is also a simplified
version of E-Shipment available for the relations of the Wim Bosman
Group. E-Shipment Lite is a simple version of the normal E-Shipment
Standard.
After a thorough analysis of the customer base of Wim Bosman we
decided that there was a need for a simple version of E-Shipment
for customers who only book a few consignments a month. The
development has started beginning 2006 and as of the 16 December
2006 every customer with road transport shipments can use
E-Shipment Lite.
The idea behind E-Shipment Lite is to book an electronic order fast
and efficient with a minimum of actions and to be able to print
barcode labels via the Internet. E-Shipment Lite is especially
suitable for relations which book a few consignments a week /
month.
Some differences between E-Shipment Lite and E-Shipment
Standard are for example:

Less actions, less confusing choices;

after the log-in you will come directly in the new
order screen;

the packing types and the Incoterms (delivery
conditions) are more clearly defined;

from 1 screen all operations can be done (save an
order, print labels and send the orders);

within E-Shipment Lite there is no possibility for
booking DGS shipments. This is only possible in E-Shipment
Standard;
-
there is a restricted archive function.
